Stress Management
In general, the concept of street management includes a variety of interventions and behaviors aiming to reduce the impact of stress. Through biofeedback one can learn to control their own physiological parameters of stress (lower heart rate, reduce muscle tension, etc.) thus reducing the burden on the body. Specific to neurofeedback, one can learn to control their brainwaves and to reach brain frequencies related to a more relaxed physiological state. Biofeedback and neurofeedback combined together can provide a person with improved sleep, less anxiety, a greater sense of self-control and ability to deal with every day stressors.
